What is charlie beck?

Charlie Beck is a retired American law enforcement officer who served as the Chief of the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) from 2009 to 2018. He was born on June 27, 1953, in Long Beach, California. Beck joined the LAPD in 1977 and worked his way up through the ranks, eventually becoming Chief of Police.

During his time as Chief, Beck implemented various reforms within the LAPD, including community policing strategies, the use of body-worn cameras, and de-escalation training for officers.
